Tempe author to be featured at Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival

​Tempe, AZ – Local Tempe author M. Kate Allen has been selected as one of 40 featured authors at the 8th annual Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival, headlined by New York Times bestselling mystery author, Juliet Blackwell.

The 2022 Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival will be showcasing 40 best-selling authors centered around mystery, suspense, thriller, horror, paranormal, and women’s fiction genres. From the festival’s description: “Whether you are an avid or casual reader, aspiring writer or published author, you will find something entertaining and intriguing….” The event is free to the public and will be in Suffolk, VA, at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, Saturday, March 5th, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Thea Press published M. Kate Allen’s first novel Memory Stands Still in 2015. This year has seen the release of Crystal Winters and the Haunted Mansion and Michelle Lobos and the Labyrinth, the first two titles of her new stand-alone youth fiction series, Sticky Ones. The second edition of Memory Stands Still was published on December 13th and features an afterword and discussion questions for book clubs.

Kate and her family have been Tempe residents since 2013.
